Reading Ambassadors
Reading Ambassadors, Reading Newsletters and Relevant Activities 2021/22
Summer Reading Challenge 2022
We have exciting news:
Our School Library is now OPEN and we have hundreds of exciting books to choose from. Mrs Nyland has spent a great deal of time cataloguing our stock with our new Library system and we are very grateful to her.
Every week classes will visit the library to select books to loan, as well as to enjoy a short story -telling session led by Mrs Nyland. Your child will be able to bring their books home to share with their families.
Please remember that the books will be selected by the children themselves, with appropriate advice from adults as needed. Our aim is to continue to foster a love of reading and literature within our school.

Our Reading Ambassadors for 2021/22
The children chose inspirational quotes from a range of different authors and turned these into posters to display around school
Well done to our Year 5 children who have been chosen as Reading Buddies. They have been working with younger children in school and are
reading lots of stories to them.
Well done to: Amelia, Millie, Freya, Kai, Eliza, Jude, Hattie, Logan
Autumn 2020 Reading Newsletter

We have a Reading Ambassador for each class from Year 1 to Year 5. Year 6 has two ambassadors. Below is a photo of each ambassador and the book they have recently reviewed.
We have had lots of fun on World Book Day – below is a video by Megan and Imogen – Year 6 – showing our great day and the puppets made.
Last week, our Reading Ambassadors were tasked with reading a story to our reception children. The ambassadors were brilliant and read so beautifully. Our reception class really enjoyed their afternoon.
