Our Christian Life – Our Journey in Faith

The Christian life of Newton Bluecoat School is rich in opportunities for children to encounter God and to deepen their relationship with Him as a loving, compassionate Father. On this page we aim to share with you and celebrate many of the elements which make our Christian school so special. Here you will find information to help families, the Parish and the school work together in supporting the development of our children’s faith.

Our Parish

Newton Bluecoat Church of England School is at the centre of our local community. Events such as Harvest supper, Club Day, Christmas Fair and wreath making are held at school. We have strong links with our local church, St. John the Evangelist Church in Lund. Canon Deborah is a regular visitor in school, holding confirmation classes or being involved in worship. We have an active worship team who also lead worship in school. We are looking forward to further developing our wider community links. 

Our Ethos Statement

Through our faith in God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we strive to nurture each pupils’ abilities and talents so that they can ‘have life and have it to the full’ (John 10.10) and use it in the service of God and other people.
